I'm a freelance designer based in Bath. Originally from a print background, I've worked in London and South Africa at various agencies before becoming self-employed. Currently the main focus of my work is creating visuals for responsive digital experiences, however I also design for print, and am equally comfortable designing for either discipline.
My design style is clean, clear and simple, always considering the usability of the end product as well as the clients requirements, image and brand. Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, my tools of choice are Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. I can create mockups using InVision or Adobe XD. I’m proficient with the Office suite and can create PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel templates.
I come complete with a fully loaded mac and can work remotely or on-site.
My favourite things to do are swimming in the sea, cycling, long walks in the countryside, and eating cake.
‘The National Army Museum and the charity Waterloo 200 commissioned a website to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. This major national event required a superbly designed website to serve as a digital hub, hosting comprehensive events listings, educational resources and a web series called “Waterloo in 200 Objects”. Genevieve Tarboton provided excellent, modern design work that was both exciting and highly appropriate for the brief. Under tight deadlines, she responded to feedback and provided revisions with great speed, ably adapting to the specific needs of the museum and charity partners. The National Army Museum and Waterloo 200 highly recommend her design work.'

‘A branding and design agency like ours must be able to call upon fabulous talent in a variety of creative disciplines. Not only do we need creativity but dependability, meticulousness and an aptitude to dovetail into the studio without a flap. Genevieve typifies these qualities and is a joy for our in-house creatives to work with.’
